The 2nd lady that came in the room reminded me of Mom in about 15 years....on another note - I liked that song. Any idea who it was?
It's Ben Kweller. He invited Nay in his tour bus once. Honestly. How R-A-D is that?
True story. He was super drunk, probably high, and most certainly blind, but yes, I did get asked if I had ever seen the inside of a tour bus before, in that kind of creepy way that groupies get asked that question before they lose their underwear under a pile of guitar cases, and subsequently, all self-respect. When I finally realized what it was he wanted ( cos I'm slow), I told him I had a boyfriend. So he gave me a super long hug, his eyes glazed over, and then he walked into the backstage area, probably to find a trash can or a whore.
That is a great story. I watched the whole thing. It was magic.
That is actually Ben Kweller grandmother Marilyn at her comminity work out center and Ben is behind the camera. For real my niggas -VG
