If by "charmed" you are referring to how consistently retarded she was. I'm only sad because I don't know who will ever be able to fill those crazy shoes. Further down on CNN there's a link "The Day Anna Nicole Died". Wow. Do you remember where you were? Yes. Because it was yesterday. I was at work getting pissed that she was getting enough face time with her death.

I almost posted something very similar, but didn't want to give her anymore damn attention.
Couple of things: Why is the media treating this as though there is some sort of loss here? "This blonde bombshell beauty", "This generation's Marilyn Monroe", "Famed Guess model and actress"?? This is Anna Nicole Smith. Have we already forgotten who this is? She was by no means making the world a better place. She was barely on tv, let alone an "actress".
I'm not saying anything new here, so I'll leave it at this: Anna Nicole should not be remembered as an icon. And if we start seeing charities or ribbons set up like America For Anna or ANS: Never Forget, I swear to you I'm leaving for England on the next flight out.
She charmed us like a retard with a great rack (this was years ago folks) initially. She was always frighteningly stupid and trashy, but in the beginning it was campy. Later she just bewildered us with her inability to communicate or exist independent of Howard K. Stern or her bull-dyke assistant. The fact that anyone cares about this woman beyond the cursory "Oh, didn't she marry an old dude? Gross!" is sad.
Fact is the daughter is going to be better off without her.
Can you believe that the prince bagged her? I didn't think anyone without a needle hanging out of their arm would have even touched her.
I am shocked also at the way the media has been all over this. Was this really a surprise? Seriously? Must be a REALLY slow news week what with just a war going on, 2 countries doing their best to develop Nuclear weapons, Argentina moving toward a dictatorship, etc.

Not a shock that she died, we all know it was drugs, and it's very sad that this is a bigger story than much more important items ala Gassy's post.
I totally agree with Homer...the baby will be better off, regardless of where she ends up, than with that skanky piece of trash.
