CB's Weight Loss Party Is Under "Weigh"

HAHAHAHAHA. I'm so badradical. Anyhow. How's everyone doing? Yesterday I was satisfied all the way up to my lunch hour and then Brandt took me to a delicious place for lunch that ended up eating all but 0.5 of my points. So I had a vegetable dinner. I think the hardest part for me will be cutting down on the snacking in the evening hours. That seems to be my Waterloo.

CB already knows this, but I'll share with the rest of you. Turns out, breastfeeders of my size get 33 points. THIRTY-THREE. That's a lot of points, no?

And the saddest part? It's so not enough. It's only 11am and I'm more than halfway through them.

Don't forget your flex-points

The best way, I think, to get through the day without using all of your points before dinner is to plan and to EAT. What I mean is this: don't get stuck at home with nothing to eat, so you just go get fast food. Plan ahead when you grocery shop and stock up on things that are good for your program. I highly suggest going for items with high fiber content (3+ grams of fiber per serving, when you can) and it will help you feel full longer. I pack a ton of crap to work every day, and I eat at least every 2 hours. Typical day for me at work, when I'm OP (on program) 100%, is 2 big waters (Costco), WW yogurt (1 pt.), Fat free pudding (1 pt.), light string cheese (1 pt.), 100 cal pack (2 pts.), baby carrots (1 pt.), apple or orange (1pt.), Lean Cuisine (4-7 pts.), and maybe a 100 cal granola bar (2 pts.) Also, if you like ice cream, buy some low cal ice cream treats (Skinny Cow is awesome) and treat yourself EVERY NIGHT...it doesn't seem like dieting when you're having ice cream every night. They're only 2 points for most of the products, although some are 1 or 3. If ice cream isn't your thing, check out the 100 calorie packs, they have tons to choose from - the point is to have desert every night and you'll feel like you're cheating when you're not.

It's good to have a guru around. Nay and I have seen that we need to be better about what we have around the house. Trying to piece together a dinner with what we have is near impossible. And what is "if ice cream isn't your thing..." all about? C'mon!

Thanks for the tips!

Ah flex points. How I love you so.....

I'm starting to see why eating all day is smart. Today I kind of "budgeted" too much, and now I have enough points, and the hunger, to get me some Dairy Queen. I'm guessing that's kind of not the point.
